A built-in should look like it grew out of the wall. Grasmash designs and builds site-integrated millwork including entertainment centers, bookcases, window seats, mudroom lockers, and fireplace surrounds, each one scribed and fitted tight to your walls and floors. Because these pieces are made to order, they follow the real lines of the room, which is why they sit clean in an older Barge-Chestnut house where nothing is perfectly plumb.

Why Built-Ins Are Worth It

Our Process

We measure the space and talk through how you want to use it, then draw the built-in and give you a firm written estimate before building. We build the components in the shop, finish them, then install and scribe them on site so the piece reads as part of the architecture. Adjustable shelving and integrated wiring get planned in from the start.
